The history of Yoropiko

Yoropiko jeans 品牌由 Martin Ksohoh (Martin Yatming) 創立於2005年,設計理念以大戰時的牛仔褲元素,珠寶設計,細緻而考究的配件製作為主,Yoropiko獨特之處在於褲上可分拆式的黃白金鈕扣,而布料從日本廣島的福山訂製,全都是大戰時期的織字窄封牛仔布。由於訂購布料以至製作需時頗久,故為不定期推出。

而分拆式的鈕扣除使用著黄白金外,也曾推出過以名貴的红寶石,藍寶石,綠寶石及鑽石的限量特别版。

Yoropiko 品牌先後與多為著名品牌合作:
與日本著名漫畫家-井上三太的個人品牌 Santastic合作,先後推出樱花及黑樱花特别版。
美國著名運動品牌 New Balance 與 Yoropiko 品牌合作其首次牛仔系列“餓龍“,並只在ebay作以慈善拍賣。而該系列有10组不同的顔色配撘,也是首次只安排在亞太區不同國家及地點展覧。
Yoropiko 也曾得到美國著名電影/小說/漫畫 Starwars的允許,聯同著名的玩具設計製作室 How2work 公司共同開發 Yoropiko 白兵牛仔褲,這亦是 Starwars 的首條以大戰時期製作的牛仔褲。
美國運動鞋品牌 Greedy Geinus 為首個 Yoropiko Jeans 的 運動鞋及牛仔衭系列。
2010 Yoropiko 將會在英國推出全新的系列 Black Label Jeans。

YOROPIKO JEANS was started in 2005 by MARTIN KSOHOH (MARTIN YAT MING). Using the elements of Jeans from the World War era, Jewelry design concept and fine details accessories, each YOROPIKO JEANS comes with unique detachable white gold buttons. Made with World War era denim fabric from FUKUYAMA – HIROSHIMA JAPAN, it is released irregularly due to the long producing process. A series of special edition that come with various rubies and diamonds are also available.

Collaboration between YOROPIKO and Japan famous manga artist INOUE SANTA’s SANTASTIC brand saw the release of the SAKURA and BLACK SAKURA EDITION. United States’ New Balance released their first denim product “HUNGRY DRAGON” with YOROPIKO and was made available as a charity sale on EBAY. The series comes in 10 different colors and were exhibited all around Asia Pacific region.

Star Wars crossover with YOROPIKO and released a STORMTROOPER DENIM through working with toy creative outlet “how2work”.

In 2010 do look forward to the release of BLACK LABEL JEANS in ENGLAND from YOROPIKO.
